Information Assurance (IA) Functional Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARY: Delphinus Engineering currently has a full-time position for an Information Assurance (IA) Functional Analyst to join the Information Assurance Support Cell supporting the Atlantic Surface Fleet in Norfolk, Virginia. This position will be filled by an applicant that can demonstrate knowledge of US Navy shipboard computing environments to assist in evaluating and inspecting shipboard information systems. Travel requirement will be 15-20%.
LOCATION: Norfolk, VA
SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Assess shipboard networks to identify vulnerabilities while providing hands on training and remediation actions
 Perform network evaluation and analysis for DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Requirements Guide (SRG) compliance utilizing current DISA approved Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) software
 Identify security requirements to bring a system into DoN/DoD compliance and create a POA&M identifying those outstanding non-compliant items while assisting with mitigation strategies
 Understanding of computer security, military system specifications, and DoD Information Assurance policies and programs

DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
 In depth understanding and experience in the implementation of Cyber Security and IA boundary defense techniques and various IA-enabled appliances (firewalls, IDS, IPS, switches/routers, Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) and Host Based Security Systems (HBSS).
 Configure, update, and maintain ACAS/SCCVI with latest audits and signatures
 Perform network vulnerability scans using ACAS/SCCVI per Program of Record (POR) or DoD directives
 Evaluate local McAfee HBSS ePO afloat or Super-Agent Distributed Repository (SADR) for configuration compliance with DISA STIG(s) and higher level directives Ability to perform complete site level analyses of vulnerability posture using Vulnerability Remediation and Asset Management (VRAM)
 Ability to develop briefing materials on security findings using VRAM, STIG Viewer, and HBSS reports as well as ability to brief senior leadership
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) level II or IAM/ISSM level I Certification
 Must have Active Secret Clearance
 Must have current and valid US Passport
 3+ years of Information Assurance experience at the system level
 Experience managing McAfee HBSS in a DoD environment
 Experience working within a CANES and COMPOSE 3.x/4.x environment
 Microsoft Server and Red Hat Linux Enterprise Server
 Familiar with the Navy Information Assurance Program guidance contained in SECNAVINST 5239.1C
 Experience with the configuration, troubleshooting, and management of shipboard information systems
