Delphinus Engineering of Eddystone, PA was awarded a contract by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Ship Systems Engineering Station (NSWCCD-SSES) located at the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. The contract was awarded for $455,163,385 over a five year ordering period. Delphinus Engineering will provide technical services for deploying technologies which improve availability, increase reliability and decrease the maintenance and workload requirements for machine systems and equipment on navy ships, submarines and aircraft carriers. Services will be provided by Delphinus Engineering using their local engineering, logistics, and alteration installation teams at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, and other Fleet concentration areas including Norfolk, Jacksonville, San Diego, Bremerton and Pearl Harbor. The contract continues the services that Delphinus Engineering has provided to NSWCCD-SSES since 1997.
