Marine Engineering Division has been awarded a competitively solicited, five-year contract valued at $36.8 million from the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. This significant achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to grow our offerings of high-quality engineering and technical support services to the Navy and broader maritime industry.
Under this contract, we will provide extensive scientific and engineering services focused on several key areas:
- Electrochemical and Alternative Power Sources: Our team will engage in research, development, test, and evaluation activities, providing innovative energy solutions to meet the Navy and Marine Corps operational needs while meeting its stringent performance standards.
- Battery Safety Certification: We will conduct rigorous testing and certification processes for lithium-ion batteries, emphasizing safety and reliability in naval applications.
- Fire Safe Materials: The contract includes responsibilities for testing materials for fire safety, ensuring compliance with military standards to protect personnel and equipment.
- Corrosion and Coatings: Our expertise will support the development and application of advanced coating systems, enhancing the durability and longevity of naval assets.
