Delphinus Norfolk Spreads Holiday Cheer
The holiday spirit is alive and well at Delphinus, where employees have come together to support the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Through this program, hundreds of local children and families will have a brighter holiday filled with gifts and essential items.
A Special Thanks to Bryan Carver for bringing the Salvation Army Angel Tree Wish Program to our Norfolk Office this year. Delphinus adopted 30 angels from our Angel Tree, which included requests for toys, clothing, and other necessities from children in need.
Employees eagerly participated by selecting angels, purchasing gifts, and volunteering their time to wrap and deliver presents.
Giving back to our community is at the heart of who we are here at Delphinus. The Angel Tree program is a wonderful way to ensure every child experiences the joy of the season.
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program, which has been helping families for decades, relies on community partnerships like us to meet the needs of children across Hampton Roads. With the generous contributions from our employees, the organization is able to serve even more families this holiday season.
This support ensures that children in our community will have gifts to open and memories to cherish this Holiday Season!

Five Star Military Family Recognition Luncheon
Delphinus Engineering proudly sponsored the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads for the Five Star Military Family Recognition Luncheon in December 2024. In honor of the sacrifices made by families supporting our Marines, Sailors, Coast Guardsmen, Soldiers, and Airmen, the President of the United States proclaims November as Military Family Month each year. This annual celebration stands as a tribute to the unwavering commitment and sacrifices of military families throughout our great nation. Delphinus is honored to continue its collaboration with the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads, creating exceptional events for our courageous servicemen and women while uplifting their families.
For the past 29 years, the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads has elevated this celebration by hosting the Five Star Military Family Recognition Luncheon. This remarkable event pays tribute to active duty, enlisted, and junior officer service members and their families who embody dedication to their country and exemplify a steadfast commitment to their local community through volunteerism and philanthropic support.
Knights of Columbus Charity Golf Tournament
Since their founding in 1882, the Knights of Columbus have embodied the spirit of charity. Delphinus proudly sponsored and participated in the Knights of Columbus Council 11984 annual charity golf tournament on October 11, 2024, now honored as the Fred Flach Memorial Charity Golf Tournament.
The proceeds from this remarkable event ignite hope and extend support to various local charities, including the Special Olympics, Coats for Kids, individuals with intellectual disabilities, families in need, and local churches.
Operation Clean Sweep in San Diego, CA
On August 24, 2024, Delphinus joined forces with the San Diego Working Waterfront for the 34th annual Operation Clean Sweep at various locations around San Diego Bay.
Operation Clean Sweep is a community event organized by the Port of San Diego and San Diego Working Waterfront, with the aim of removing trash and debris from San Diego Bay and its surrounding waterways.
During this event, over 8.2 tons of trash were removed from the waterways, with the help of over one thousand volunteers from five cities along the San Diego Coastline.
A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers for their hard work and commitment to keeping our waterways clean and free from trash and debris!
Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Race in Virginia Beach, VA.
On July 13, 2024, Delphinus was wholeheartedly present to support the Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Race in Virginia Beach, VA.
We have had the honor and privilege of sponsoring this significant event for the past 20 years. The proceeds from the race benefits the Navy SEAL Foundation, The Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad and the Virginia Beach Lifeguard Association. This race is a tribute to Allen Stone, a local Navy SEAL who made the ultimate sacrifice, as well as other SEALS who sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

HEARTS FOR HEROES FISHING TRIP in Virginia Beach VA
Delphinus was a proud sponsor for the Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads. On May 31, 2024, everyone had an amazing time at the 12th Annual Hearts for Heroes Fishing Trip! Hearts for Heroes seeks to provide our nation’s wounded and ill veterans with the opportunity for a day of respite on the Chesapeake Bay. Veterans and their caregivers are invited on a half day or full day (their choice) fishing trip at absolutely no cost to them.
Comradery among peers is important to a strong military community. This comradery is even more important for our Nation’s wounded, and ill veterans. Hearts for Heroes allows our service-related wounded, injured, and ill veterans of all service-related operations the opportunity for a therapy respite outlet on the Chesapeake Bay.
The Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads helps to create an environment for this unique military unit to rely upon each other and to be strengthened by each other’s experience. This event is free to veterans and their caregivers, thanks to generous donations and sponsorships from the community.
